Dedication to Others: In the book of Ruth, the story of Ruth and Naomi is a fantastic example of what it means to be selflessly dedicated to another.

Guiding Questions

  1. One makes a commitment to another in words, but dedication is shown in action. How are qualities like effort, drive, and passion connected to the quality of dedication?
  2. You can be dedicated to a variety of thing; to a person, to a cause, to a goal. What does it mean to you to be dedicated to your faith?
  3. Like enthusiasm, most people find it easier to be dedicated to the things that they love. What is the benefit to being dedicated to something that you may not love, but that needs to be accomplished?
  4. What are aspects of your faith life to which you can be more intentionally dedicated?
